National Learn to Row Day

The first Saturday in June is always National Learn to Row Day!!! This year we are hosting a FREE event to come get a taste of rowing before our Learn to Row Program kicks off. 

You will learn rowing terms, how to erg/row on land, how to row on the water, & work with others to move the boat(s) on the water.

  1. All fitness and athletic backgrounds welcome, no prior experience necessary.
  2. Dress in weather appropriate clothing that is fitted. Optional sunscreen, hat & sunglasses. Baggy clothing is discouraged due to the design of rowing equipment.
  3. Bring a water bottle. Hydration is very important while rowing!
  4. Please arrive on time to sign a waiver and get basic instructions.
