Lansing Rowing club provides a boathouse, dock, and equipment for members and classes to use. The upkeep for this sport is expensive and we are always looking to keep up on repairs and improve our equipment and facilities. Dues and class fees offset some of the costs, but donations of any amount are always welcome!
Here is a list of current/ongoing projects donated funds would go toward:
- dock repairs
- duck fence repair/improvement
- purchasing of oars (new and used) and rowing shells (used)
- repair of current oars and boats
Future projects we would like to fund:
- installation of running water
- building a bathroom in the boathouse
- subsidize cost of LRC programs for low-income families
