The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
To kick Spring off and help our local community, join us as we volunteer at the Allen Neighborhood Center‘s Hunter Park GardenHouse. Since the Allen Neighborhood Center‘s Food Pantry is full booked, we found another way to still help our local community.
The Hunter Park GardenHouse, a project of Allen Neighborhood Center, is a hub for year-round farm & garden education, where neighbors volunteer to grow food, flowers, and community, and youth develop job and life skills in service to the neighborhood. Since 2008, the Hunter Park GardenHouse has empowered neighbors to grow, prepare, and eat healthy food to better their health and become better connected with the community.
The GardenHouse needs volunteers to help with various tasks like: seed sorting and packaging; compost and mulch spreading; weeding; watering; harvesting; tool cleaning; planting, etc. Vegetables grown at the Gardenhouse are later harvested & brought to the Food Pantry. It is a great way to give back to our local community.
